Rayman Legends Retold Delayed to December 3

Publisher Ubisoft and developers Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan have delayed the release of Rayman Legends Retold. The title, originally scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026, will now arrive on December 3, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2.

Official statement from the development team

Hello, Rayman fans,

Rayman Legends Retold will now release on December 3.

Although the game has officially gone Gold (development is complete), we decided to take extra time to ensure every detail receives the care it deserves.

In the meantime, we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been working on, starting with a “Gameplay Overview” trailer on September 22. That same day, selected content creators and press outlets will share new hands-on impressions.

On behalf of all the teams working on this title, thank you for your patience, support and trust.

The team notes the game reached Gold status, but the additional time will be used to polish details ahead of the new December release window. Ubisoft also confirmed a gameplay overview trailer is planned for September 22, 2026, with selected creators and media publishing new impressions that day.
