Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Trailer Debuts on Switch 2

Activision and Infinity Ward released the campaign trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on September 17, confirming key story beats, including John Price’s shadow operations and a rift with former allies as a looming global threat unfolds.

The trailer picks up after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, showing Price on the run as Task Force 141 is disbanded and tensions with old allies intensify. It also teases a large-scale invasion of South Korea and a powerfully dangerous weapon at the center of the narrative.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23, 2026. Nintendo Life noted the Switch 2 version would release on the same day as other platforms.
