During the Nintendo Direct broadcast on September 9, 2026, Shift Up confirmed that Stellar Blade: Complete Edition will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. Digital pre-orders for the Switch 2 edition opened the same day.
Bayonetta collaboration and free outfits
Shift Up also announced a collaboration with Bayonetta. The protagonist Eve will receive four new Bayonetta-inspired outfits; three were shown in the new trailer and the fourth remains secret. The Bayonetta-themed outfits will be available for free at the Switch 2 version’s launch.
Physical edition and cartridge details
A physical release of Stellar Blade: Complete Edition was confirmed. According to Shift Up, the physical edition will contain the full game on a 32 GB cartridge and will not use a Game‑Key Card (yay!). Shift Up said it aimed to keep all content on the cartridge itself.
What the Complete Edition includes
The Complete Edition bundles the base game and additional content, including previously released collaborations and extra items. Specifically mentioned by Shift Up are:
- Collaborations with NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE.
- Extra items for Eve and other characters.
Shift Up indicated the Complete Edition gathers the base game plus these supplementary contents into a single package for the Switch 2 release.
