Nintendo has released a new wave of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort icons for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The customization items can be redeemed with Platinum Points through the Nintendo Switch Online app, allowing players to personalize their profiles with designs inspired by the Nintendo Switch 2 sports game.
This is the second of four planned waves of rewards. The latest items became available on October 28 in North America and will remain available until November 4. Additional rewards are scheduled to arrive weekly through November 18.
How to Redeem the Icons
The rewards are divided into three categories, each with a different Platinum Point cost:
- Character icons: 10 Platinum Points each
- Backgrounds: 5 Platinum Points each
- Frames: 5 Platinum Points each
To redeem the rewards, open the Missions & Rewards section of the Nintendo Switch Online app, select the items you want, and exchange your Platinum Points. An active Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to claim the icons during the promotion.
According to the program’s published information, redeemed items remain available on your account even after your Nintendo Switch Online membership expires.
More Rewards Coming in November
Nintendo plans to feature Nintendo Switch Sports Resort in its rewards program for four weeks. The third wave is scheduled for November 4, followed by the final wave on November 11. The promotion will end on November 18.
The sports game features 12 activities on Wuhu Island, combining returning favorites with new experiences that take advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2’s motion controls. The icon campaign gives players another way to celebrate the game and customize their profiles with themed artwork.
