Nintendo has announced two new amiibo figures based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time during the special Direct celebrating the franchise’s 40th anniversary. The figures depict Young Link and Young Zelda, using the updated character designs from the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 remake.
The two figures are scheduled to launch sometime in 2027, although Nintendo has yet to reveal an exact release date or pricing.
New amiibo will unlock cosmetic items
The new amiibo will do more than simply look good on a collector’s shelf. Nintendo confirmed that both figures can be used with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to unlock special cosmetic items. On the remake, players can use a funny masks from the original game.

The announcement comes ahead of the remake’s release on November 5, 2026. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 with updated visuals, redesigned character models and several gameplay changes aimed at modernizing the Nintendo 64 classic.
With the new amiibo arriving in 2027, fans will have another reason to return to Hyrule long after the remake launches — and perhaps another couple of figures to make room for on the shelf.
